EXTERNAL VALIDATION

Next Tuesday our school will take part in a process called External Validation. This process requires the school to submit evidence showing how our school creates an amazing environment for our students to learn. The process covers things from learning culture, wellbeing, curriculum delivery, management process, assessment and so much more. Some of our school team meet with an external panel who validate our self-assessment and provide support in identifying future directions, which guide the strategic directions of our next School Excellence Plan. We look forward to sharing the outcomes with our school community.

MAGPIE GATE - AFTERNOON PICK-UP

In the coming weeks, Magpie gate will be closed/locked from 3:10pm, this is for student safety.

Any students who are not collected by 3:10pm will be directed to the front office for collection. The school has other safe exit points (Napier Street and Bourke Street) where children can be picked up each afternoon. Please discuss these changes with your child and if necessary, please arrange for an alternate pick-up point for your children.

NSW PUBLIC SCHOOL'S SURVEY

Next week, students in Years 3-6 will participate in the NSW Public School's Survey (replacing the Tell Them From Me surveys). This survey provides the school with valuable information about our students' school experience. It helps us shape their learning, opportunities, resources and wellbeing to name a few. Opt-out notes were sent home earlier in the term for those not wishing to participate. We look forward to receiving feedback from our students on how we can continue to improve TPS and make it an even greater place for our students.
