TPS Behaviour Management Flowchart - on page 9 of the newsletter.
Tamworth Public School has high expectations for our students. As part of this, we have structured processes in place to promote positive behaviours and address behaviours of concern. We have developed a simplified flowchart for our school community that clearly outlines the steps students may experience in this space during their educational journey. This flowchart forms part of our School Behaviour Management Support Plan which can be found on our school website.
NAPLAN
We are so proud of all our Year 3 and Year 5 students who have been undertaking their NAPLAN assessments this week. These will continue into next week for some students along with catch-up sessions scheduled for students who may have missed any of the assessments. As we have previously communicated, NAPLAN is only one assessment on one day, and it simply cannot measure the many aspects that make our students the fantastic individuals they are.
Major Excursions
A huge thank you to our parents/carers who have already paid deposits for the upcoming major excursions. These excursions take a huge amount of logistical organisation, so we please ask that all deposits are made by the cut off date to secure your child's place on the excursion. Bus organisation and accommodation will be based on the final number of students who have paid their non-refundable deposit.
