What made you choose this school for your child?
As an aunty to 4 children that have gone through TPS, I knew that this is where I wanted to send my children when they started Kindergarten.
I was always so impressed by each event I attended for them. For example, how respectful the children were at assemblies. I could see how engaged the teachers were and how well the school was run, even with the large volume of children. There were endless opportunities for children to pursue an interest whether that was academic or sport, there was an option to fit all children to make them feel included.
What’s something your child loves about school?
My son has always woken up everyday and wanted to come to school, even on days he was sick and I had to keep him home!
He loves playing with his friends. TPS is such a great multicultural school where he learns about his friends' heritage/culture, and I find that really special.
He has always loved his teachers and that now extends to my middle son who has started Kindergarten who enjoys school every day and is flourishing at TPS.
They love to learn in a supporting, nurturing environment that the teachers provide for our children at TPS.
How has the school helped your child to succeed?
I believe the school has assisted my son with his strengths, included him in the right reading group to enhance his reading skills, provided him with necessary homework to embed his Mathematics skills he is learning in class. I can see both my sons go from strength to strength and growing in all aspects of their learning and education. This is evident from the time and support the teachers are providing our children in their classrooms.
