What a term!!! I would like to express a very sincere thank you to the Tamworth Public School community for the very warm welcome I have received this term. It has most certainly been a very busy term, but one I have thoroughly enjoyed. I hope all of our students and staff have a well-deserved break and refresh ready for another jam packed Term 2. I look forward to continuing to lead our great school and getting to know as many of our community as possible.

State Swimming

Best wishes to all of the TPS students in Sydney today and tomorrow for the PSSA State Swimming Championships. In some amazing news, Philippa and Thomas were selected as flag bearers for the North West Swimming team and also had the honour of presenting the 'Athletes Pledge' at the opening ceremony of the championships. We look forward to hearing the results from our representatives when we return next term.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

Our parent/teacher interviews are fast approaching and books will officially close on Tuesday 30 April 2024. There will be a few small changes to parent/teacher interviews with staff changes and other circumstances but these will be communicated with those families that are impacted. Alternate times will be offered and booked in. We thank you for your understanding.

ANZAC Day

As per previous years, our school will be participating in the community ANZAC Day services. I will be in attendance at the dawn service and supporting some elderly attendees with parking in our Brisbane St carpark. Any students who wish to attend the Dawn Service are welcome to join me. Mr Squires will be coordinating the ANZAC Day march and information regarding this will be distributed. It is asked that students participating in the march wear their full school winter uniform (no hat).
